Father’s Day happens every year and brands have stepped up the game by creating different types of online ads that appeal to families. Branded videos, promos, and posters show love and appreciation to all the hardworking dads out there.

In the world of digital advertising, there is no other medium that can catch consumers’ attention and generate emotion as well as a video can do. Video marketing is one of the most effective medium for people to consume content.

This year, local brands explored what it means to be a father. These videos tried to convey the emotions of parents and children that is essentially shared by everyone.

Here is an overview of some of the brands that gave us unforgettable video ads this Father’s Day 2017.

 

“Wait Lang Po” By McDonalds

This fast food chain didn’t need a lot of words or an elaborate storyline to convey their message of thanks to all the dads. What made this video stand out is the powerful insight of how dads show their love and support for their kids.

“Daddy’s Girl” by SM Supermalls

In celebration of Father’s day, SM Supermalls showed the different sides of a father that their families don’t usually see.

“Powers” By Jollibee

The two-minuter Father’s Day special, titled “Powers” is the latest addition to the Kwentong Jollibee series.  The story revolves around how proud the son is to have a super dad just like his father.

“Love Hurts” by Chuckie

“Minsan lang sila bata, kaya lahat kakayanin” is The Father’s Day message of Nestle Chuckie that shows how a father can endure anything and everything just to make memories and see their children happy.

Many more brands have paid tribute to the superman in the family while many of these videos have different styles and different approaches one thing is clear that a father’s job is not easy but it is worth every second.
